A key figure within the European scene for over 20 years, Leipzig born DJ and producer Sven Tasnadi has seen his stock as one of Germany’s key electronic artists confirmed through a rich back-catalogue that includes releases via the likes of prestigious imprints including Moon Harbour, 20/20 Vision, Roush and Poker Flat, whilst also heading up his own label Oh! Yeah!, launched in 2009 alongside Daniel Stefanik and Juno6. Having already released an impressive collection of original material and remixes throughout 2019, August will welcome a label debut on Green Velvet’s Relief Records as he reveals three fresh productions in the form of his ‘Break’ EP.
‘Birdcage’ opens with a soaring combination of whirring synths, punchy drums and rumbling low-ends amongst bleeps and samples, before moving into ‘Break’, fusing crisp claps and shimmering hats alongside infectious vocals throughout. Last up, ‘Piano Session’ signals the arrival of bright piano chords amongst ever-evolving bass patterns to shape up the package.
