Dvit Bousa is a DJ/Producer originally fro Colombia.
His Career started 12 years ago when he developed a strong love for electronic music. He has joined us in a conversation below about his creative journey and his newest release, My Kisses.
How are you, what’s been going on in your world?
My second child was born, and we are really happy.
What was it like to get back to partying and DJing again after the pandemic?
Really cool, finally.
What is the scene in Colombia like where you are, are you a lone operator or are you part of a vibrant creative community?
I have a community and work alone too.
Tell us about growing up in Colombia, and how you got into music – was it there or via radio or internet or when you left?
It was when i had 15 years start with a personal producer teacher and then left to continue in a academy.
Where does the impulse to create something come from for you? What role do sources of inspiration like dreams, other forms of art, personal relationships, politics etc play?
Really I just sit with my computer and everything starts to come, it feels amazing to do what i love.
You have a new track ‘My Kisses’ out on Adesso Music, tell us the story behind it!
Yes, very excited. We sent them the track and they liked it. We are fans of the label.
How did you link with the artists that you did on the release? What was it like working with them?
Not bad, we have worked together previously on other tracks
What gear do you use to make your music? does that matter?
I use a Mac Pro, Waves 9, Universal Audio, KRK VXT8, M- audio Pro Fire 610, Sylenth and others. Sometimes make the difference.
What hopes and dreams do you have for 2022?
Continue Releasing tracks With Adesso Music, and other big Labels. Start to grow up my labels too 911 Recordings, Teman Records, Chimba Records.
