SHADED is no stranger to the Desert Hearts scene, but he recently solidified his relationship with the label by becoming an officially signed artist. His debut EP on the label, “Gucci Baggy,” is right on brand with a Desert Hearts release and makes us excited for what’s to come from this partnership.
The first track on SHADED’s new EP, Gucci Baggy, is a playful track with a buzzing bassline and retro-inspired synths while the lyrics are captivating and infectious. The second track, Trounce, is a seamless transition from the first. While it’s a house track to the core, the sounds are unusual and bubbling, making for a quirky track. The EP is a pure joy to listen to and it’s the kind of music that plays in your head long after it stops. Give it a listen.
