‘The Affair‘ is a perfect coming together of great songwriting, pinpoint vocal work and house-infused drums. It’s catchy but classy with chunky, full-fat kicks and nice airy vocals that really hook you in. Sobek reworks it for the club with a more menacing mood and darker drums, whilst Marcus Worgull’s fantastic remix takes you on a deft late night trip to the stars with his sleek drawn out pads. After a must-listen dub mix comes the equally airy and catchy ‘Distance‘, with its rugged chords and cosmic vibes. The 5am mix layers in more energy for edgier dance floors.
There is every chance that these tunes become huge crossover hits this summer.
