Pfeiiffer is a small but well formed label that hits release number seven with a new one from Jozef K. The long time house talent has plenty of tricks up his sleeve and they all come out here.
Up first is Everybody Loves Daft Punk which has words spoken by the robots form an old interview. It adds a layer of depth and intrigue to the prickly acid beast and is destined for big things this summer. Shanghai Stone Sorcerer is more subtle, with a nice rippling 303 paired with chattery Detroit snares. It’s a tune to get you in the zone and keep you there. The final track is a lush and dreamy remix of Everbody Loves Daft Punk by Lauren Flax. Its got warm pads, wilting keys and icy hi hats that get you in a trance.
