DubeatsLex Wolf joins Brooklyn’s Razor-N-Tape and unreleases four killer edits on his latest EP. The UK DJ and producer, now based in the Balearic capital of the world, Ibiza, takes a moment to talk us through some of his favourite modern love songs.

Perfect question! Amazing band, absolutely love this track well ahead of its time.
2.) Frankie knuckles – I want Your Love
The godfather of house with the true love song for generation. This is arguably the best house tune ever made.
3.) The Beloved – Sweet Harmony
I love a 90s dance band and they are one of the best. I’ve played this at sunset and sunrise so definitely one for those special moments
4.) Kariya- Let Me Love You For Tonight
I love this tune it’s probably not a modern love classic but the lyrics, the vibe and the energy are what I love.
6.) Steve Silk Hurley & The Voices Of Life ft. Sharon Pass – The Word Is Love
Not much you can say about this apart from it’s never left my record bag. I made an edit that you can try spot when you hear me play.
7.) Love Machine – The Wild Ride Remix
Love this remix by the master of edits himself Johnny Rock. It’s an anthem of my love machine parties and pretty much any other party.
8.) Lama – Love On The Rocks
There’s a lot of remixes and edits of this track but this one from ‘83 is definitely up there for me.
9.) Lovetempo – Quando Quango
If you ever hear me playing this at a party you know it’s going off. Those beats and that horn is just ridiculous.
10.) Together Forever – Raven Maize
Joey negro under his Raven Maize alias. Definitely one of his best and one of my favourite ways to end a perfect set.
