German DJ and producer Gregor Tresher delivers a three-track EP ‘Concrete Echoes’ to Sasha’s Last Night On Earth label, releasing April 10th. With an extensive back catalogue under his belt and fresh off his most recent albums ‘False Gods’ and ‘Riot Gear’, Tresher is no stranger to fans of electronic music. He centres his music around melodies, grooves, and organically shifting sounds, with releases on Cocoon, Turbo, Drumcode, Ovum, Intacto, Music Man, and Moon Harbour. His label ‘Break New Soil’ serves as an extension of his work, creating a platform to explore modern dance music from forward-thinking artists.
‘Concrete Echoes’ packs three propulsive, Melodic House tracks that shift and expand throughout. The EP opens with ‘Concrete Echoes’, easing listeners in with air-born hi-hats, echoing pads, and vocals that surface between snares, building the track to a pulsating groove. ‘Sanity’ pulls you into a dream-state, as rhythmic bass and swirling pads are met with airy percussion. Commanding sub-bass and staccato synths bring the EP to a close in ‘Stating The Obvious’, an hypnotic blend of razor-sharp percussion and illuminating chords.
Tresher says – “I’m excited to join the LNOE family and to release these tracks on the label, as they have been highlights of my DJ sets recently, and releasing them on Sasha’s iconic imprint feels like the perfect fit.”
Tresher’s ability to create rich, emotional tracks has taken him across the globe, collaborating with artists including Laurent Garnier, Sven Väth, Depeche Mode, and The Cure.
