Fiin is a DJ and producer based in Miami who has made his mark on the local scene and is now getting international probs.
With a risky style in the DJ booth that always keeps dancers guessing, he as played alongside the likes of Joris Voorn and Seth Troxler, always laying down compelling tech house rhythms and sleek grooves that are upbeat and infectious.
He has been resident at Heart in Miami for a while, and also runs his own RELIC night. As such he is right at the heart of the underground and is playing key role in driving it forwards.
Ahead of new releases on Knee Deep In Sound and Ultra Music, here the artist talks us through his favourite clubs in Miami, all with plenty of real insight.
Wynwood Factory
Firstly, I have to mention the Wynwood Factory since I hold my weekly residency there. This room is special because it’s from the same team that opened Heart which is where I built my name. Also, this is one of the most unique venues in Miami right now. It has 3 completely different rooms which each has their own stories. Also, they have a big lot behind the venue, which has been great for a few special pop-up events.
Club Space
You can’t think of Miami without mentioning Club Space. The venue has been around for nearly 20 years and has hosted some of the best parties in the world. If you come to Miami you have to spend a Sunday morning and afternoon on the terrace.
Wall
Even though this is a VIP club, it’s an extremely special room and always fun to play. Has an amazingly beautiful and sexy crowd and on Saturdays, it has some of the best DJs playing some of the best music in Miami.
Basement
Basement has to be one of my favorite rooms. It’s a perfect size and it has one of the best sound systems and lighting setups in Miami. Always a good time here.
Coconut Groove
Coconut Groove isn’t a venue but a pop-event, which hosts a once-a-month island party. It’s about a 5-10 minute boat ride to a tiny island in the intercostal but it’s hands down the best vibe and one of my favorite gigs of the year.
Project Tulum
A new venue in Wynwood, which captures Tulum essences to near perfection. Always a great crowd and once a month it hosts a special party called Ritual. A must-see when visiting here.
