Music is 4 Lovers closes out 2018, and their first year of the label, with an emotional four track EP entitled ‘No Formula’ from bright Mexican producer Jay Blakk.
“Jay Blakk has been a dear friend of ours having booked Climbers a few times in San Diego,” says Jimbo James, Music is 4 Lovers editor-in-chief and label founder. “Jay sent me the title track ‘There’s No Formula For Love’ and I was enamored by the melody, big drums, and the overall progression of the tune”, he said.
All four tracks are smooth but with a distinct, raw edge—different from anything Jay put out under the Climbers moniker. “This EP is really personal to me”, Jay Blakk says,“it’s my way to tell people about the journey of loving myself and how I rose from the battle of depression. It’s a body of work made from pure love.”
