Slacker 85’s commitment to showcase outsiders, renegades and third-party (in a night) candidates takes Seth Troxler’s label to Puerto Rico for a tenth release courtesy of Cali Lanauze. Wildly prolific while dancing to the beat of his own drum since his mid-teens, Lanauze’s dark, focused grooves have long upended expectations of the typical sounds emanating from the island.
For his debut single on Slacker 85, Lanauze links with a fellow effervescent journeyman of Caribbean culture, Aquarius Heaven.
