YARD Festival’s rapid ascent shows no sign of slowing down. The Lisbon-area event marked its fourth edition in 2026 with its first sold-out year, bringing together a carefully curated mix of electronic music, art and immersive experiences in the unique surroundings of Portugal’s White Sand Mountains.

Spread across a landscape more reminiscent of a desert than a conventional festival site, YARD offered plenty to explore beyond the stages. Interactive installations, an on-site art gallery and a dedicated Terra Bomba stage curated by the Burning Man-affiliated collective helped create an atmosphere that felt distinctly different from many of Europe’s established electronic festivals.

On the musical front, the programme delivered throughout, with performances from Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Chris Stussy, Bonobo, Ahmed Spins and more. Sunday’s closing performances were particularly special, with RY X making one of his only live appearances of 2026.
