Longstocking is next up on the Plump Records run by Kevin Knapp, who remixes the two new originals here and makes for yet another superb EP.

Delete Messages opens up with a slinky groove that builds in layers and has a monologue over the top. It’s perfectly well swung and a real tasteful groove to lock in the club. Chirp, Chirp, Bitch (Original Mix) is a nice loose, left of centre house cut with its own unique groove. The hi hats spin like plates, mad effects bring the colour and the beats are irresistible.

The Kevin Kanpp Remix is another doozy. It’s raw and dense, with restless drums and a frazzled mix of synths and hits but it sure will do damage in the club.

Plump Records proves once more here it is one of the best new labels in house.
