Ministry of Sound and Von Dutch unite on a capsule collection drawing on the venue’s legacy in electronic music and club culture and the fashion label’s distinctive place in fashion and streetwear. Bringing together two globally influential brands of the last three decades, the collection takes inspiration from the defining aesthetics of the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. The limited edition hats will be available to buy from both the Von Dutch and Ministry of Sound websites on Friday 13th November.

The collection features three caps, each drawing on the defining aesthetics of a different decade. The Von Dutch x MoS ’90s Trucker Cap channels the vibrant energy of the 1990s club scene with an all-over multicoloured graphic print, inspired by the kaleidoscopic visuals and bold design language of the era.

The Von Dutch x MoS ’00s Denim Cap takes cues from the denim-led fashion of the early 2000s, with washed finishes, distressed detailing and bold styling that defined the Y2K aesthetic, reflecting denim’s influence across music, fashion and streetwear.

Completing the collection, the Von Dutch x MoS ’10s Trucker Cap draws on the darker, more understated aesthetic of the 2010s, pairing monochromatic styling and minimal branding with statement detailing inspired by the era’s contemporary clubwear.

The Von Dutch x Ministry of Sound collection will launch with a free-to-attend party at Ministry of Sound’s Elephant and Castle home on Thursday 12 November, from 6pm to 10pm, celebrating the collaboration between the two iconic brands. The event will feature interactive art installation, ‘Pimp Your Peak’, led by artist and designer Detroit Dyer-Millier, whose previous collaborators include Snoop Dogg, Gunna, Skepta and Nicki Minaj. Guests can create their own one-of-one Von Dutch trucker hat with Dyer-Millier, while DJs Olive F, Sian Owen and Manuka Honey provide the soundtrack. Food from Dave’s Hot Chicken, drinks from Peak Moods and tooth gems by Oona Beauty will also be available on the night.

The collaboration arrives as Ministry of Sound closes out its 35th anniversary year, reflecting the club’s enduring connection to the music and culture that have shaped its identity since opening in London in 1991.
