Over the last few years, Juany Bravo has grown into his own style and sound both in the studio and on the decks. His style, which is marked by a blend of hip-hop, disco, Latin grooves and classic house can be clearly heard in the wide range of original productions and remixes in his repertoire. Juany has seen Beatport chart-topping releases on labels such as Lapsus Music, Go Deeva Records, In The Loop Recordings, Sleazy G, Audiophile XXL, Dear Deer Records, and Beachside Records, while scoring support from major musical taste makers such as Erick Morillo, Supernova, Lupe Fuentes, and Kenny Dope, to mention a few.
His most recent accolade includes a release on Shanghaied Records’ Miami Vol. 1 VA, which received support from Federico Scavo, Mark Knight, Hector Couto and Vanilla Ace. Over the next few months we can expect more tracks from Juany, including an upcoming release on Krafted Underground’s DTLA VA, a single forthcoming on Matteo Rosolare & Jojo Angel’s Daylight Robbery Records, a collaboration with Thomas Garcia as part of the Sweatbox Records launch sampler, and most notably, a new single signed to Kenny Dope’s Dopewax Records.
Besides making waves with his productions, Juany has now found himself in the thick of the thriving Bangkok underground scene. His presence and sounds have been felt at some of the city’s best clubs and pool parties, and also at one of the region’s most coveted underground parties, Jungle Experience Koh Phangan (alongside Dee Montero, Doorly, and Anthony Attalla), and as support for Nakadia and Sven Vath at Illuzion Phuket (DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs). With a packed upcoming gig and release schedule, we’re sure to hear a lot more from Juany!
