London singer-songwriter TYNE returns with two new singles, ‘P$YCHO MILLIONAIRE’ and ‘FINAL SONG’, out 21st May.

A single steeped in reflection, ‘P$YCHO MILLIONAIRE’ finds a stunning middle-ground between organic instrumentation and digital production, with fluttering piano chords complementing TYNE’s hushed vocals. ‘Final Song’ is a more sombre affair, with TYNE singing from the heart as she delivers an affecting, emotionally-charged ballad.

It marks her fourth and fifth single releases of the new year, following on from ‘Find Me’, ‘Insecurities’ and ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’. All five tracks will feature on her forthcoming EP, playfully titled ‘This Is My Second EP’.

“‘P$YCHO MILLIONAIRE’ was originally written about the music industry,” TYNE explains. “Myself and Loxe (producer) were talking about how difficult it is navigating the industry alone and how it’d be so much easier if your parents still made your decisions. The tag line “If I had a pound each time they came around when I’m only doing big things; I’d be on my way by now” is about industry sharks and the promises everyone makes in life.”

She continues: “Myself and Charlie wrote this weird little song ‘FINAL SONG’ a few years back in the middle of the night in Brooklyn. It’s about the one of a night out, seeing an ex or an old friend, wanting to say everything you’ve ever said in that moment before the lights go out and everyone goes home.”

With over 8 million Spotify streams and a global fanbase, TYNE has drawn support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing, also regularly making it onto Spotify ‘New Music Friday’ playlists in both the US and UK. Having orchestrated her own headline show at Electrowerkz and completed a national tour supporting PVRIS and COIN, TYNE continues to gather appreciative fans and valuable experience.

Two more stellar singles, ‘P$YCHO MILLIONAIRE’ and ‘FINAL SONG’ have further heightened the anticipation for TYNE’s forthcoming EP.
