TWOFACED’s ‘Yearning’ returns 8th May as it finds its third life in the hands of Faster Horses — the alias of Liverpool-born, Manchester-based producer Joe Germains. In this latest reboot, Germains recasts ‘Yearning’s’ high-octane pressure with a floating, trance-tinged psychedelica that’s become a signature of the rapidly rising producer.

Faster Horses’ rework follows last month’s hard-edged reinterpretation from Clouds. This time, ‘Yearning’ receives a remix built on a more dreamlike take of the original, where Germains lets the piano-led keys breathe and expand before rebooting the original’s bassline with added force, spotlighting his signature razor-edged synth.

Faster Horses is the Manchester-based DJ and producer who is quietly becoming one of the most compelling names emerging from the UK’s harder club scenes. His sound sits at a precise intersection: trance-tinged techno, hard house, hard groove, and dreamlike psychedelica drawing inspiration from the club culture of cities like Copenhagen and Berlin. Building his catalogue around ethereal synths laid over heavy basslines, Faster Horses has previously released through techno giant Teletech, as well as playing sets at iconic venues like The Warehouse Project and household festival institutions including Glastonbury, Parklife and Creamfields.

Following the breakout success of their 2025 single ‘I Need You’ on Positiva Records — propelled by support from Calvin Harris, Malugi, DJ HEARTSTRING, and X CLUB. — TWOFACED have quickly established themselves as one of the most fascinating rising acts in the hard house circuit. Moving fluidly between melodic house, trance-leaning, and harder club sounds, the New Zealand duo continue their ascent across the UK and EU scenes. After completing a 10-date debut UK and Ireland tour, including support for Morgan Seatree and Oppidan, Bodie and Daniel are now gearing up for a busy summer with festival appearances at Teletech, Sammy Virji Curates Finsbury Park, Terminal V Croatia, and Wild Gardens.
