Repopulate Mars announce remixes of Yolanda Be Cool Ft. Omar’s ‘To Be Alone’, with Lee Foss & Audiofly, Pelvis Moves, and Dillon Nathaniel turning in exceptional versions this December.

Following the platinum hit ‘We No Speak Americano’ in 2010, Australian duo Yolanda Be Cool teamed up with Omar for ‘To Be Alone’ on Nurvous Records in 2013 and picked up plaudits from the likes of Mixmag, Stamp The Wax, and Stoney Roads. For 2020 and beyond, the vocal smash sees a welcome update courtesy of Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars camp, with each artist bringing their own flair to proceedings.

Label-boss Lee Foss and Barcelona’s Audiofly offer a buoyant but low slung take, with dulcet bass tones and gorgeous synths fluttering around the vocal performance. Following a huge debut on Club Sweat earlier this year, newcomer Pelvis Moves goes straight to club with chopped vocals, a menacing bassline and snappy, earthy drums.

Rounding off the package is a remix from Dillon Nathaniel who, fresh off the back of his ‘Vaccinate EP’ on South Of Saturn, provides a typically groovy rework that counterpoints the original’s ethereal vox with a pulsing, staccato bassline and soaring builds.

‘To Be Alone (Remixes)’ drops on Repopulate Mars on 18th December 2020.
