Multidisciplinary French producer and curator Titouan L.C.S. is set to release his electrifying new album, a potent preview of his highly anticipated May 2026 album, Hiver Blanc à Abidjan. Emerging from the vibrant electronic music scenes of Paris and La Rochelle, Titouan has defined his sound through consistent, meaningful global engagement, establishing a unique artistic signature that resists rigid, Eurocentric boundaries.
This forthcoming album is a journey across the globe, from an artist who has a raw passion for creating music that speaks to a people, a culture and a lifestyle, The album has elements of afro-house with the lead single “Couers Croises” – it also delves into Baille funk with “YOUZOU”. There’s even elements of techno and hardgroove on the Knebel remox of “KORHOGO” – put simply this isn’t an album that’s build as a cohesive style, it’s more like a mixtape. A collection of pieces that make up the mind of Titouan.
The single’s sonic landscape masterfully fuses the immersive depth of poetic techno and trance with raw, percussive rhythms. It seamlessly integrates live instrumental elements, a key feature of Titouan’s developing sound since 2015, ensuring the track pulses with an organic energy often missing from purely electronic compositions. This unique blend is a direct result of his pivotal “musical exile” to Abidjan in the winter of 2023, an experience that previously inspired his acclaimed Bloom Coco debut EP.
Collaboration is the bedrock of Titouan’s creative output. His process is intentionally community-driven, forging genuine human and artistic connections with local musicians, visual creators, and cultural actors in every destination. He actively works to spotlight these international voices back in France, exemplified by his efforts to bring artists like Tora San Traoré and Seny D. to share their work.
As the creator of the Grand Déplacement event series, Titouan champions a more open and globally connected musical landscape. This new single is not just a release; it’s a dynamic, sonic bridge, promising a transformative live performance as it is prepared for touring following the album’s release.
