The UK’s number one mashup DJ duo Switch Disco return, linking TeeDee for the remix of their recent smash hit ‘React’, out February 24th on Relentless Records

A mashup of Robert Miles‘ iconic 90s techno classic ‘Children’ with a plush Ella Henderson vocal, ‘React’ is the ultimate party anthem – and is fast approaching two million streams on Spotify only a week after its release. Sheffield DJ and producer TeeDee’s remix ups the ante even further, souping up the tune with rave buildups, fierce drops and squelching bass. Watch here as TeeDee teases the collab to his 255K followers on TikTok. Alongside the remix, the single will also be accompanied by a music video to follow in March.

Speaking about ‘React’, the duo said: “To be given the opportunity to sample one of the most iconic dance music melodies of all time from Robert Miles, coupled with the insanely talented vocals of Ella Henderson – is something we are so grateful for. From the first moment we heard Ella’s vocals, we knew that she had created the perfect compliment to what we consider to be one of the greatest dance music instrumentals of all time.”

This two man DJ / producer team have been working alongside each other for almost 10 years, since their individual careers in the British and Greek music scenes collided together, resulting in a truly unique creative partnership.

Signed to Sony UK’s Relentless Records after going viral with their Bicep and Nelly Furtado mashup in late 2020, the boys’ debut single ‘Everything’ was the sound of summer 2021 and was used as the soundtrack to the opening scene of that year’s Love Island series. Their mashups are soundtracking hundreds of thousands of TikToks and Instagram reels across the world, as well as being supported by some of the best DJs in the dance music scene.

Gearing up to support Sigala on tour, and having recently announced a summer 2023 residency at Ibiza Rocks, ‘React’ promises to be a Switch Disco set highlight as the mashup duo go from strength to strength in the club scene.
