Syncia’s the first artist to release on the new label from Release LDN, which is the well known in house night from London’s Studio 338. He does so with a great skills across a quartet of powerful tunes.
Raw Chant goes first with grinding bass and slamming drums that are overlaid with yelping vocals and incendiary hi hats. Bad Boy Sound is then a more tribal groove with rubbery kicks and low slung bass overlaid with all manner of deft details up top. I’m About To Go is an experimental cut with pitched up vocals and high speed garage drum funk that cannot fail to blow up the club. The One then comes on strong with future synth lines over shuffling percussive grooves that are heavy and full of swing.
On this evidence this label is going to be as essential as the party of the same name.
