Next on the Family Piknik label is Sebass, who performed live at the iconic French festival last summer. Three of the tunes he dropped are on this EP with one other.
Constellation is first and is the sort of astral techno you would expect from such a title. It has driving drums and rubbery bass, with cosmic keys up top and a wealth of groove to spare. Time featuring Robert Owens is more tripped out still with a lead sequence that tumbles down the scales and has spine tinging vocals form the one and only Robert Owens. I’m Free is more main room techno with spiralling chords and brash synths then Mind Control closes things out with rumbling bass, spaced out grooves and plenty of hands in the air builds. Ace stuff all in all.
