Hailing from South London, PRVNA, the talented artist, continues to infuse the upcoming summer season with her captivating blend of soulful grooves, mesmerising melodies and invigorating afro rhythms. Taking inspiration from acclaimed musicians like Black Coffee and Disclosure, her latest track, “Move My Hips”, gradually unfolds, starting with lush, filtered piano chords that seamlessly blend with shakers, infectious afro drums, and a groovy bassline.

PRVNA tells us, “I am a woman in dance music, and my voice will always return to the free spirit of 90’s club classics that I listened to growing up. I’ve found it incredibly empowering to be fun and flirty on a record, and have loved owning that space.”

PRVNA effortlessly navigates through diverse genres and cultural influences, skillfully intertwining them with the essence of tropical island vibes and uplifting dance music. Her musical journey is shaped by the vibrant landscapes of her childhood in South London, which serve as a backdrop for her storytelling approach to production. The result is a captivating series of addictive singles like “Get Down” and “Believe”, accompanied by impactful remixes from acclaimed artists such as Girls of the Internet and Bruise. PRVNA’s ability to blend these elements creates a unique and irresistible sound that resonates with listeners and showcases her artistic versatility.
Her releases on forward thinking NeedWant and iconic Nervous have gained spins from Danny Howard, Jeremiah Asiamah, Jess Iszatt and Jyoty alike.

“Move My Hips” marks PRVNA’s second single of 2023, to be followed by her debut afro-fusion EP “Move my Hips” later this summer.

Speaking on her new single PRVNA states:
“Move My Hips was always about showcasing sexuality creating space and rhythm in that. This song specifically felt universal, like we finally got out of London and gave something back to the sun”.
