California based Mojave Grey return with their captivating new single, ‘Rendezvous’, via Armada Records out now.
Featured as part of a forthcoming album project, ‘Rendezvous’ packs guitar melodies against pulsing, melodic house drum loops that act as the backbone of the single, building into a brooding atmosphere before reaffirming vocal lines take hold, making it a hit in waiting for the post-summer dancefloors.
Formed by musicians, producers and multi-instrumentalists Zander Bleck and Michael Pozzi, Mojave Grey have carved out a distinctive sonic identity that fuses classic rock sensibilities with modern electronic textures. Drawing inspiration from the expansive landscapes of the Mojave Desert and their shared creative chemistry – the duo create music that is both deeply personal and sonically expansive, continuing their mission to redefine the intersection of rock and electronic music.
Beyond the studio, Mojave Grey are much more than a duo with a live show element – they are a fully-fledged performance act, intertwining improvisation of their own originals with cover tracks and mashups. Their unique approach embodies their upbringing as musicians and entertainers, helping bridge them as an exciting dance music act on-the-rise.
With its guitar-led melodies, brooding build and soaring vocal payoff, ‘Rendezvous’ captures Mojave Grey at their most atmospheric yet. Arriving on Armada Records, the single offers a first taste of the duo’s forthcoming album project, and marks another step in their genre-defying evolution.
