Simon HuxtableXspance returns for the first of a series of releases with ASTIR this year. This one is a solo EP named ‘Thoughts & Feelings’. Early support comes from Solarstone, Anthony Pappa, Miss Melera and more.
Signed to OneDotSixTwo, Stripped Digital, Stellar Fountain and more, Myles Webb aka Xspance is an electronic music producer with a very unique sound. Whether it’s ambient soundscapes or more uptempo fare, his trademark has always been in the sound design of his tracks.
Opening with ‘Night & the City’ we are drawn into a kaleidoscopic vision of clubland where the music plays forever and smiles are all around. Next up, VapourWaver reminds us of the emotion of that dance floor high as you swim in the music, so hypnotised by its wonder.
‘First Light’ drops the tempo as daylight begins to fracture back to reality and you find yourself on that night bus home. Finally, ‘Dawn’ rounds out the EP with its broken beat charms as you reminisce on all that has gone before, your eyelids drop and you lapse into sleep with no resistance.
