We’re super stoked to introduce Ma Sha Ru – the new band from producers Ma Sha and Rù fueled by a persuasive fusion of balearic downtempo cuts and rich acid filth. Drawing influences from the sounds of club, breakbeat, hip-hop, and UK bass, Ma Sha Ru’s debut release “Near The Equinoxes” is a rich and exciting collection of cuts out November 8th via Brooklyn’s Sorry Records.
Organically connected through hypnotic vocal samples juxtaposed with chunky breaks, atmospheric dub, and explosive kick drums, this four-track collection kicks off with the dark soundscape and groove-laden kicks of before transitioning into uplifting, warm, ambient tones of “Vernal.”
