Burgeoning techno duo WITHN US returns to the release radar with their second original production, ‘Parallelogram.’ Their latest record follows the launch of the WITHN US alias in June with the release of their debut single, ‘Fallback Drug.’ Further developing their project and showcasing their production depth, the dark, bass-driven single ‘Parallelogram’ is out now via the newly formed techno label CIRQUE 87.

Newly launched techno duo WITHN US consists of long-time music producer Tyler Barr and former singer of an indie rock band Bec Hollcraft. The two met at an underground techno event in Los Angeles, quickly realizing they both felt the same about what was missing from the genre. Combining their love of electronic music to begin creating music together, they got into the studio and started experimenting with dark tones and emotional melodies. Their live sets and production are a fusion of their backgrounds: Bec with a history of touring in bands & years of songwriting and Tyler being formally signed to Armada Music under a different moniker. Their strongest desire is to create worlds the listener can lose themselves in.

Parallelogram’ immediately kicks off with a pounding and infectious rhythm, accompanied by calculated grooves and percussive elements throughout. With quivering synth pads and palpably raw vocals expertly woven, the new cut transverses through the senses with a mesmerizing ambiance. Dark, cinematic stabs envelope the track alongside punctuated drums, coating the soundscape with club energy. The duo’s latest endeavor serves as a sound that will undoubtedly leave listeners excited for what’s to come in subsequent releases.

Working to hone their craft, WITHN US is embarking on a journey to bring a new perspective and vision to the techno genre. The flourishing duo’s newest single serves as a prime introduction to the arsenal of releases they have in the coming months.
