The latest Wout Records is a collaboration between the Italian label boss Dinkis and Michele Anullo that takes us on a nice deep trip into various house realms.
All four of the cuts are serene and supremely chilled out, with big spacious atmospheres in which to get lost. Above The Border of Dreams is a mid tempo roller with subtle and icy pads drifting like clouds up top while weighted drums root you to the floor. Diamante Nascosto then gets more dark, with tense chord sequences and supple minimal drums rumbling away down low. Fire From Over the Planet is twinkling, heady, and filled with well crafted sounds that pack a real punch. Last of all Spectral Memories is the most upbeat of the lot but is still superbly icy and dreamy. Great stuff.
