Dundee-based DJ and production duo KIMMIC are blowing up with their debut single ‘Never Miss A Beat’, out now on Polydor Records.
A techno crowd pleaser that’s already peaked at #1 on the SoundCloud Ireland Top 50 Chart, ‘Never Miss A Beat’ plucks a sample from the Kaiser Chiefs song of the same name and transforms it into a party anthem. Handclaps, bouncing keys and a lean bassline round out the mix as the duo take their club banger to its heavy-hitting limits.
KIMMIC’s debut track first picked up steam on TikTok in December, where it racked up over 3M plays, 9000 likes and 500 comments. Since then, ‘Never Miss A Beat’ has peaked on the SoundCloud UK Top 50 Chart hitting #33 and on the SoundCloud Ireland Top 50 Chart at #1, having earned over 250K plays, 12K likes and over 200 shares on the platform. KIMMIC have also debuted the track live to rapturous reception over the past week in Scotland and Poland in scene-stealing appearances at Stack City and Euforia Festivals events.
Following their whirlwind of online success, KIMMIC have announced themselves to the dance scene with a bang. Now having recently signed for Polydor Records and with ‘Never Miss A Beat’ continuing to gain momentum, more globe-trotting shows and chart success await for this exciting new duo.
