Contributing WriterRX Recordings are leaders in underground club sounds and that continues with a new EP from Julian Wassermann. Procombo, Kemal Vatansever and Mehmet Özbek are the remixers who also pop up with some fresh versions of their own.
First out of the blocks is Metrik which takes you to a higher plane with chords that dance above the drums and keep you afloat. The two remixes explore harder, darker, more warehouse styled techno from Kemal Vatansever and Mehmet Özbek.
The second track Topo has laser synths shooting over a nimble baseline while the final remix from Procombo gets more edgy, with searching pads and a real sense of intergalactic space battle playing out.
