With his roots firmly planted in the House Music underground, Belgian DJ / Producer Vito Lucente, aka Junior Jack, saw his popularity soar in the early 90’s, achieving a string of worldwide chart hits and becoming one of the most prominent dance music artists of his time. Vito also recorded under several different guises including monikers Room 5, Kafe, Deep Walker and Mr Jack. But it was under his Junior Jack alias that he produced club anthems “Thrill Me” and “E Samba”, along with his “Trust It” album, through to smashing main room dance floors with global hits “Stupidisco” and “Da Hype’ that turned him into a household name.
This time around Junior Jack’s 2004 classic “Thrill Me” reworked as Kittball co-founder and house music star Juliet Sikora and Flo Mrzdk feature for an electrifying new version on Adesso Music.
We caught up with Junior Jack to talk about “Thrill Me”, his own new plugin, upcoming collaboration with Pat BDS, and more.
Hey Vito! It’s to meet you. How has the year been for you so far?
So far, so good, thank you.

Your latest single «Thrill Me» in collaboration with Juliet Sikora and Flo Mrzdk is out now on Adesso Music. What was your inspiration behind this record?
It’s an old record that did well for me. Juliet and Flo, whom i like , proposed a new version which I was really happy with.
Growing up in Belgium, how do you think the local underground dance scene has informed your sound?
I was always listening to music from around the world so living in Belgium made no difference.
How did you first get introduced to music production and DJing?
Music just always seemed to be there from an early age.
What does your studio setup look like ?

Can you go through some of your current go-to instruments and plugins?
Keep your eye out for a new plugin I have been working on for many years.
Who are some music producers that have grabbed your attention recently?
All the ones we recently signed to Adesso Music label.
Now that «Thrill Me» is out, what is next for Junior Jack?
More new tracks with my partner Pat BDS on the label.
