Hi Roy, great to have you on Music is 4 Lovers! Where are you speaking to us from today?
Hey guys thanks for having me, it’s my pleasure you caught me at night in my studio after a long session.
You were born in Israel. Who were some of your biggest musical influences in your younger years?
As a kid, I listened to a lot of music across genres from The Beatles to Rihanna to Tiesto and also Michael Jackson and of course also Israeli music.
Your new release 12 o’clock is superb and shows off your diverse studio skills. What was your approach when writing the EP?
Thanks for the warm words, I really like this specific EP because. I wanted to make a few tracks that not gonna be only for the dancefloors and will be also for people that just want to listen to a good track in their headphones there are catchy vocals and good grooves that make you wanna move.
How do you get into the groove in the studio during your writing process?
Listen to a lot of music, not only electronic music that important getting some ideas and jamming doing a lot of groove loops that some of them in the end turns into tracks.
The new record will be your first release on Monaberry. What is your relationship with the label and what makes it a good home for this release.
I have a really good relationship with the guys behind Monaberry – Super Flu. I like their music and they like mine one day I sent them a skitz of one of my tracks and they like it a lot and invite me to sign it on their label of course I accepted immediately because I like Monaberry and play a lot of the music they release through the years.
What has been the highlight of your career to date?
