With incredible releases on L’Enfant Terrible and Musik Gewinnt Freude, Montreal-based In2Deep once again team up with Egyptian producer, Fulltone, to construct their latest EP Vine of the Soul on Seven Villas Music. Seven Villas curator, Pablo Bolivar, is consistently releasing gold and this EP is no exception. Vine of the Soul boasts two original tracks from In2Deep and Fulltone and two remixes from Powel (All Day I Dream) and another by Bolivar himself.

The title says it all for the track ‘Vine of the Soul,’ a hypnotizing track with heavy bass and breathing synths. Powel’s remix is what you would expect, he takes the track up into the clouds and adds his dreamy stamp on it. The second track ‘Dip In’ incorporates air instruments and abstract sounds that gives the listener an organic tribal feeling while keeping the music deep and minimal. Pablo Bolivar throws his electronic signature on the remix which transforms it into an upbeat techno expression.

Whether you want to call it deep house, minimal or techno, Vine of the Soul checks all boxes and its remixes make this EP a very collective piece of art.
