Greg Fenton returns to Digital Devil with another firing EP featuring four of his hot house cuts. The artist is a music writer for the likes of DMC so knows what it takes to stand out, and proves that across his offerings here.

Freeze Frame open things up with seven minutes of grainy, stripped back house music with dub chords. It’s diffuse and humid and one to get inside your head. Revolution is looser, with tumbling hits and skipping drums, but still stays low and deep. Cat On A Hat again shows off nice drum programming, rather than flat four to the floor, with reverb and spiralling pads adding depth. Carnival is the closer and has steel drums up top while the bass drills down low. It’s a roomy track and closes out four classy house cuts that have a real sense of atmosphere.

Freeze Frame EP is out 30th March 2018! Pre-order it here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/freeze-frame-ep/1352186012
