Hot on the heels of their last EP, East LA Tek are back with three more of their widescreen and sleek club tunes on the Superfreq label they run together.

Made up of the legendary acid man Mr C, and Detroit’s Hypertone label head Noel Jackson, they kick off here with the icy tones of Vortex, which bubble and boils, building in tension and taking you along for the ride. Semantics then start to slap that bit harder, with 303 lines making for coruscated textures and real mystery. Rubicon then gets more melodic with manic keys and spiky effects all keeping your attention piqued. It’s a fantastic future acid cut that carries your mind away, and once again seals the deal on an EP that finds this pair in superb form.
