The Dear Deer Records label has tapped up Ilona Maras and Sanja for a new single. They are a pair who have worked together often on labels like Get Physical and now they do so again to great effect. Their original gets remixed by Quivver and Marc DePulse to make for three top tracks that DJs and dancers need in their life.
‘Curve of the Horizon’ is a menacing track with razor sharp hi hats and brooding bass. It’s a low slung grave that slithers through an urban landscape with darkness round every corner. The vocals add to the intensity and as such this one is sure to creep you out. Quivver goes for something more stripped back and smooth, with a zoned out feel and focus on some slick synths and rolling drums. Then last of all Marc DePulse is in fine form as he gets more cosmic with his twinkling melodies which rain down from above. It’s a great way to end a great EP.
