An adventurous addition following earlier singles ‘TRiPPPY’, ‘2D5’ and ‘TRiiiBAILE’, ‘QUEENLOVE’ flows with magnetizing movements through full-bodied basslines, dizzying synths, and smooth, rolling drum patterns. As with its predecessors, ‘QUEENLOVE’ sees Cour T. continuing to carve a unique path with his hypnotic tech-house style. Through vivid layers of spunky rhythms and bubbly melodies, ‘QUEENLOVE’ carries a zesty energy throughout its five-minutes.
Based in Curitiba, Cour T. is quickly becoming a vanguard within Brazilian house music and beyond. No stranger to Dirtybird, Cour T. has a longstanding history with the iconic American house and techno label, having released seven EPs on the label including last year’s Florestao. His trademark sound, a mix of percussive rhythms, repetitive basslines, and deep, psychedelic synths, has garnered the support of Claude VonStroke, Claptone, Chris Lake, Dennis Cruz and Jamie Jones.
Out October 6th, Cour T.’s forthcoming debut album Brain Deals is a testament to his development as an artist under the A&R direction of Claude VonStroke and the future of the Dirtybird brand. Brain Deals sees Cour T. finding a sonic balance between the various musical influences that have shaped his sound: from the quirky techno and house tones associated with the San Francisco-based label to the tribal elements inspired by his Brazilian heritage.
