In case you missed it this week, Wolf+Lamb Records released Cameo Culture’s track “Precious” alongside their own 7AM mix and dub versions, and a remix from their Israeli brother from another mother, Jerome C. This emotionally charged, dreamscape of a track is only a teaser of what is to come with Cameo Culture set to release a full album sometime this spring. If emotionally charged dreamscapes peak your interest then you are going to want to check out this track full of fire and funk, groove and grace. This sits so nicely within the Wolf+Lamb label, but is so fiercely unique with it’s 80’s new wave-esque vocals and other-wordly synths, which creates a track that pulls you in from the moment you hear the strum of a guitar. This track is smooth and sensual and yet slightly off-kilter making us anxious and ready to hear more from Cameo Culture. Add to this, Wolf+Lambs 7AM versions and Jerome C’s, which takes this track to another level, and you’ve got yourself musical gold. Cameo Culture is definitely someone you’re going to want to keep your eye on!
