With a new EP on the way to cap off an incredible 2023, the duo drop yet another true banger
Riding high following their hugely successful Ella Henderson collaboration ‘React’ earlier this year, the UK’s number one mashup DJ duo Switch Disco are back with their latest single ‘Easy My Mind’, out December 8th on Relentless Records.
A rousing, uptempo dance anthem, ‘Ease My Mind’ sees Switch Disco in their absolute element, building a sing-along dancefloor belter around a sublime lead vocal and hair-raising piano chords. The track will feature on the upcoming Vacancy EP, dropping on 15th December.
The duo are fresh from last month’s single ‘Vacancy’, an uplifting follow-up to the runaway success of previous single ‘React’ with Ella Henderson, which peaked at #4 in the UK Official Charts, 10 weeks in the UK Official Chart’s ‘Top 10’ and 19 weeks in the ‘Top 40’. The track now ranks as the UK’s #2nd biggest selling Dance track released this year. #6th biggest selling track released in 2023 and 18th biggest selling track of the year overall. The early summer banger has also been taking over the airwaves in recent months, placing #13 in UK radio airplay, #5 on Kiss, #19 on Capital, #36 on BBC Radio 1, and #3 on Hits UK.
‘Ease My Mind’ follows in quick succession from ‘Vacancy’, which dropped on 8th December. Off to a stellar start, ‘Vacancy’ has already seen impressive DSP support from Spotify’s UK NMF (#5), Massive Dance Hits, Dance List, All New All Now, New Music Dance, Dance Rising and New Dance Beats. Apple Music supported the release with a jumpstart promotion, adding the single to Today’s Hits, Dance XL, Future Dance Hits, New In Dance (#1), NMD (#2), Future Hits and Dance Pop. Switch Disco also notably found themselves on the cover of Amazon’s Fresh Dance, and Spotify’s The Dance List. ‘Vacancy’ is also currently on KISS FM, B list at KMFM network, Student Music Network and KISS Dance radio playlists. Switch Disco’s KISS FM 20 minute mix went live alongside the release of the single.
This two man DJ / producer team have been working alongside each other for almost 10 years, since their individual careers in the British and Greek music scenes collided together, resulting in a truly unique creative partnership. This summer has been their biggest ever with a 21 week residency at Ibiza Rocks in addition to multiple shows a week across Europe and the US.
Signed to Sony UK’s Relentless Records after going viral with their Bicep and Nelly Furtado mashup in late 2020, their edits are soundtracking hundreds of thousands of TikToks and Instagram reels across the world, as well as being supported by some of the best DJs in the dance music scene.
Wrapping up a year to remember, ‘Ease My Mind’ is another unforgettable anthem from Switch Disco as the mashup duo continue to go from strength to strength across the club scene.
