Amber Red Recordings is growing just as steadily as the rest of the label family and with a fresh and new face, catalogue number 010 enters December. “Durch Die Nacht” co-founder, Dirk Sid Eno delivers another masterpiece this winter in the form of his ‘Streetlife’ EP and will feature two originals. Opening track ‘Excuse My French’ is a mysterious journey led by mechanical whirrs and bleeps. A track with a certain drive, with the ability to create those ‘lose yourself’ moments on the dance floor, simultaneously making you move. Next up is ‘My Block’, a playful number, maneuvering at obscure angles maintaining a distinctive energy through out. Plucky synth work creates the groove here, live and direct dance floor action with impactful drum work from the Cologne based artist. As always effective and tight productions from Dirk Sid Eno, stepping up to the plate for Amber Recordings. A safe haven for discerning techno music in which this release sits comfortably. So all things said and like always. Pls welcome to the Amber-Family: Dirk Sid Eno.
