Arkady Antsyrev produces minimalistic house tunes, combining deep-atmospheric soundscapes with electro beats incorporating both synthesisers and live instruments. His new EP for Steve Bug’s Sublease Music, Know That, comprises three tracks, all super deep groovers referencing classic Chicago and New York house sounds while adding his own inimitable spin on things.
With the EP out now, Akady put together a playlist of some of his all-time club favourites.
Earth People – Dance (Club Mix)
I heard this on tape in 99 or 2000 and was amazed that music transcended time and space – it sounded like nothing I had heard.
Barbara Tucker – Beautiful People
I heard it on the same compilation as the first song – one of the definitive house tracks of all time.

Definitely one of my favourites and maybe the best remix ever produced.
