Indian rapper and producer ZZ has unveiled a sultry new single called “did i hit it alright?” Hailing from his forthcoming album, the can’t-miss cut features TIANA (AKA Tiana Le from Disney’s The Big Shot) and frequent collaborator Yacker. Out via ZZ’s own The 6am Company, laidback trap drums and mellow guitars make way for sizzling melodies about reassurance & “being a freak, everyday of the week.” It was initially previewed with an exclusive live performance and also comes equipped with a lofi music video that seamlessly captures the mood of the single.

Raised in New Delhi and relocated to Los Angeles in 2020, ZZ has quickly made inroads within the hip-hop scene, collaborating with artists such as FRVRFRIDAY, 24kGoldn, Guapdad 4000, Kodie Shane, and music video director LONEWOLF, while receiving praise from the likes of Lyrical Lemonade, Ones To Watch, Noctis Mag, Elevator Mag, Noisey, and Rolling Stone. With over 5 million collective streams under his belt, performances alongside Russ and to 10,000 people at Zomaland, and support from Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists, he’s squarely positioned within the community as a fast-rising one to watch.
