SWAYLO makes his debut on Insomniac’s IN / ROTATION with new single “Angel of Light.”
The New Mexico native has been pushing out a global sound that strings crosses borders by bringing in far-flung influences from Latin America flavor to African elements, the latter of which he has roots in. He makes use of a lot of earthly tones and tribal textures, especially on his recent bass-leaning offerings on Gravitas. His new single on IN/RO is an ethereal four-on-the-floor gem that shines with a shuffling drums, woodwind flourishes, lush vocalizations, hand percussion, and deep groove.
