The breakthrough electronic artist’s latest cut is an irresistibly upbeat banger
Following a summer of sold out shows and smash hits, the UK’s latest breakthrough electronic artist SILK returns with his feelgood new single ‘Last Time’ ft EVALINA, out on 24th November.
SILK crafts another euphoric banger with ‘Last Time’, riding high in both BPM and emotion. Framed around a soaring, artfully distorted lead vocal from EVALINA, the producer constructs a soundscape out of shimmering synths. “Why don’t you hold me like it’s the last time we’ll ever touch”, EVALINA sings as the chorus hits. Showing off the production talents of SILK, this is another unforgettable single from the breakthrough Brit.
It’s been a busy year of touring for SILK, following a hugely successful Aus + NZ tour with Australian DJ and producer Golden Features as well as a string of debut UK festival dates, finishing off with a closing set at Leeds Festival in front of 25,000 people. The rising star is also fresh off his SOLD OUT debut headline London show in September. Within the space of 12 months, SILK has clocked some impressive numbers across the board including 35 million catalogue streams, 55 million TikTok views as well as a plethora of international radio love.
‘Last Time’ follows SILK’s late summer banger ‘On My Mind’, the smash collaboration ‘Reason’ with Paige Cavell, as well as the huge success of previous single ‘Quiver’, which has amassed over 30 million global streams to date across all platforms, plus major radio support on both sides of the pond with SiriusXM’s Diplo’s Revolution in the US, as well as BBC Radio 1 and KISS in the UK. The rising star has also had key press features in Wonderland, NOTION and more, gained over 55 million TikTok views and counting, and received support from renowned Youtube channel Selected.
EVALINA is a 23 year old singer/songwriter from South London. Her most recent successes include ‘Fool’ and ‘Know Better’ being played on Radio 1 and ‘Side Effects’ being named Record Of The Week on BBC Introducing South, Surrey & Sussex. Having recently headlined at Femmestival, whilst also performing at Amsterdam Dance Event and The Great Escape this year, EVALINA is one to watch on the UK scene.
