Regency is first up and soon locks you into a tight tech house beat with minimal percussion. The synths are deft and subtle but cut loose eventually to really make an impact in the club. Heir Of Snare then brings more drum funk and warped synth lines. It’s a tense sound that is dense in texture and smartly layered up. Last of all, Magnus rides on a shuddering groove and is layered up with sheet metal snares and rolling hits and clicks that bring real tension.
This EP has been a real mainstay in the DJ sets of label owners Mind Against and is now finally out into the wider world.
