Esteemed German techno producer Torsten Kanzler returns to the fold following copious acclaim and plaudits across his releases on the likes of Filth On Acid, Orange Recordings, Bush Records and his very own lauded TK Records imprint. Up next, he’s back on CODEX with the deep, wilfully-submerged techno outing ‘Mirror’.

Locked and loaded with 2 stellar originals and remixes from supreme talents Superstrobe & Andrea Signore, this truly is one for the ages, and a dead cert to stir up some real dancefloor chaos when it takes aim at the bassbins.

Two Face’ is a peak-time 4×4 stomper that makes great, sustained use of its precisely-crafted percs and that incredible breakdown/build, whilst title lick ‘Mirror’ is a tad more on the progressive side of things, but no less mean and deftly incredulous. On remix duties, fellow Berliner Superstrobe gleefully rolls out a pulsating warehouse workout, outfitted with alarming, energetic synths and atmospherics, whilst Belgian bossman Signore treads a similar path, yet embarks on his own classy journey – it’s really hard to pick a standout from this one, they’re all so good. We’ll let you decide for yourselves!
