Review – Justin Cholewski & Rūta Loop ‘Saulele’

Legendary French techno label Family Piknik Music welcome Justin Cholewski & Rūta Loop for their debut single while remixers Cadillac Express and Essence Of TIME also impress.

Saulele in its original form is spine tingling. The vocals are heavenly, the drums upright and crisp and the chords meaningful. Then the Cadillac Express Remix is a darker take. It has meaningful bass and heavy drums but still plenty of fine synth soul. Saulele (Essence of TIME Remix) is our pick of the bunch with its taught synths and moody techno drums, but it is the vocal that really lights it up and brings the flavour. Add in a dub and a radio edit and you have a fulsome package.

Dance floor dynamite doesn’t get much better than this.
