French melodic label Coal Temple debuts with a superb new Barbers EP featuring label managers Pontias, Mood Gorning and Albanø.
Known for their release across labels such as Stil Vor Talent and Family Piknik, these artists know how to cook up proper immersive soundscapes and they show that here. Barbers has stunning synths unfurling over rooted and rolling drums that lock you into a real spell. Folsif then gets more dark and moody, with warped, taught synths having above eerie pads as the dark drums roll deep.
These are two serious trips from this fantastic new label.
