Mitch Dodge‘Uwile’ is the first of many Afro House studio collaborations by Raphv, Dr Feel and Toshi. Their most intimate to date, set to be released through Paradise Sound System, ‘Uwile’ is a true and an honest song, straight from the soul.
It talks about the falling of a Great Tree, who was a musical maestro – Toshi’s grandmother. The song speaks of picking pieces after ‘Her’ fall, and how life can never be the same. At the same time, it thanks ‘Her’ for allowing ‘Her’ spirit to be born and for the tremendous impact ‘She’ had while alive. In this way, this soulful tune is a call for praising those who paved the way and supported our journeys.
