Title track ‘Zeit’, seamlessly fuses infectious UK garage grooves, glitchy, organic elements and a blistering, foundation-shaking bassline, sealing a signature sound which thrives on uplifting melodies and detailed rhythms, extending the sonic palette beyond genre boundaries.
Closing out is ‘Hyra’ where FRCTLS embraces a nostalgic, energetic palette of UK breakbeat and future bass sounds. Nodding to a strong UKG heritage with feet planted firmly in the future, the track delivers more earth-shaking bass lines, mind-altering glitches, and syncopated drums that shower the listener in bliss and groove by the bucketload.
Zeit is essential gear for fans of moody breaks delivered with humanity and a compelling attention to detail, and sits comfortably amongst the darker side of Overmono, Bicep and Burial.
