Brazilian producer/DJ duo Plastic Robots have released their new single ‘Tell Me Something’ via Dirtybird Records.
Quickly becoming regulars on Dirtybird, Plastic Robots have put a refreshing twist on bass house with their latest original ‘Tell Me Something’. An underground club cut that flirts with the wonky sensibilities of the iconic house and techno label, ‘Tell Me Something’ is a striking offering from the Brazilian beatmakers. Thick thumping basslines are the main attraction, with crisp percussion and wild arpeggiating synth crescendos adding to the eclectic palette presented by the duo. ‘Tell Me Something’ is a dancefloor stunner sure to be heard throughout the Dirtybird Players Tour, happening now throughout the US.
Regarding the track, Plastic Robots said, “We are thrilled to be back at Dirtybird Records with the release of our latest track, ‘Tell Me Something’. Working again with this legendary label was an incredible experience. ‘Tell Me Something’ is a song that represents the essence of Dirtybird, with a unique mix of exciting beats and irresistible basslines. We can’t wait to share this new music with all of our fans and hope it makes them dance as much as it made us dance during production.”
The duo comprised of Nando Scheffer and Daniel Queiroz has become one of Brazil’s brightest acts. Bringing colorful energies to their live performances and original productions, Plastic Robots have appeared on labels such as Mau5trap and Sink Or Swim, and collaborated with acts like Steve Darko, illusionize, House Divided, and more. In 2019, Plastic Robots made their Dirtybird debut with ‘Silent Fury’, returning to the label last year with their Nightmares EP.
